Ceramit Opaque Red (Part A) is a remarkably versatile decorative enamel that delivers a finish equivalent to hard-fired enamel — without a kiln. As a two-part epoxy-like system, Ceramit Part A (color) must be mixed with Ceramit Catalyst (Part B, sold separately) before application. The result is a durable, professional-grade surface treatment used by jewelers and metalsmiths on a wide range of substrates.
Cured Ceramit achieves a hardness of 60–75 on the Sward scale, comparable to kiln-fired enamel at 65–80. Colors can be intermixed to create custom shades, and the material performs as an excellent spraying medium when used with Ceramit Thinner.
