Knew Concepts Mk.IV 3" HD Saw Frame with Lever Tension

The Knew Concepts Mk.IV 3" Heavy Duty Jewelers Saw Frame delivers a dramatic increase in blade tension over standard saw frames — up to 60 pounds of tension, which is 2–3 times more than other Knew Concepts 3" jewelers saw frames. That extra tension virtually eliminates flex in the frame, giving you significantly improved cutting accuracy and control at the bench.

The added mass and structural strength of the Mk.IV Heavy Duty design makes Cam Lever Tension the required — and only — tensioning method for these frames. Traditional screw tension is not compatible with the increased resistance of the heavier frame construction.

Traditional screw tension is not suitable for the Mk.IV Heavy Duty frame due to the increased structural resistance of the heavier construction. Cam Lever Tension is the only available tensioning method for this frame. The Mk.IV Heavy Duty series is also available in 5" and 8" frame sizes, with optional 360-degree Swivel Blade Clamps.
