Knew Concepts Mk.IV 5" HD Saw Frame with Lever Tension & Swivel Blade Clamps

The Knew Concepts Mk.IV 5" Heavy Duty Jewelers Saw Frame combines cam lever tension with 360-degree swivel blade clamps to deliver a precision cutting tool built for demanding bench work. This frame generates up to 60 pounds of blade tension — 2–3 times more than other Knew Concepts 5" saw frames — virtually eliminating flex and significantly improving cutting accuracy.

Because of the increased structural strength of the HD frame, cam lever tension is the only tensioning method available; traditional screw tension is not compatible with these heavier frames. The lever system makes tensioning fast and consistent, so you spend less time adjusting and more time cutting.

The 360-degree swivel blade clamps allow the blade to be repositioned in relation to the frame in a full circle, with positive click stops at every 45 degrees. This gives jewelers and metalsmiths the ability to cut in any direction without repositioning the workpiece.

Traditional screw tension is not suitable for this frame due to the increased structural strength of the HD design. Cam lever tension is the only available tensioning method for this model. The Mk.IV Heavy Duty series is also available in 3" and 8" frame sizes, with or without swivel blade clamps.
