The Knew Concepts Titanium Birdcage Saw Frame with Cam Tension and Adjustable Sawblade Direction (ASD) is engineered for metalsmiths and woodworkers who demand maximum rigidity and precision from their sawframe. Constructed from super-rigid lightweight titanium, this frame offers exceptional stiffness — surpassing even popular aluminum models — which translates directly into extended sawblade life and reduced cutting fatigue during long sessions.

The standout ASD feature allows the sawblade clamps to swivel 45° left or right relative to the frame and handle, enabling precise changes in cutting direction without removing or remounting the blade. Three detent presets at 0° (center), 45° right, and 45° left make repeatable adjustments fast and reliable. For custom angles, the clamps can be positioned anywhere within the full 90° range of adjustability. A cam lever activates the clamp rotation, making tensioning — especially with thicker sawblades — significantly easier than with traditional fixed-clamp designs.

The sawblade clamp knobs are reversible from side to side, supporting both left- and right-handed operation. Available in three throat depths to suit a wide range of workpiece sizes.
