Busch Fig 4203S carbide twist drills are engineered to expel more material from the hole, allowing them to perform better and last longer when cutting hard metals. These drills outperform high-speed steel and standard tungsten carbide when drilling jewelry metals and can also be used on mild steel. The special 2-groove construction makes chip removal easier and significantly reduces breakage risk.

Using a coolant extends service life. These drills perform best when used in a drill press — as with any drill, breakage can occur with excess leverage or canting. When used freehand, a starting guide hole is recommended.

Not for use with glass, ceramics, or gemstones.
