Description

110V / 120V supply only. This unit is built for standard North American household current (110V / 120V). Running it on 220V / 240V through a voltage converter-transformer voids any warranty the equipment may have. Confirm your outlet voltage before powering on. Learn more

A drill press stand turns a flex shaft handpiece into a compact vertical drilling station for straight, repeatable holes at the bench. The Foredom DP30 is that stand: the lever feed stays controlled as you bring burrs and drills down into metal, wood, wax, and more, and the fully adjustable design lets you set stroke depth and workpiece position before the first hole.

The all-metal build holds the handpiece square to the work, so depths repeat from part to part. A 2" (approx. 51 mm) throat capacity and 1-1/4" (approx. 32 mm) maximum stroke suit small parts, findings, wax models, and jewelry components, and the same setup handles spot facing, countersinking, and reaming as readily as it does drilling.

Features

  • Rugged all-metal stand that turns a compatible flex shaft handpiece into a precise drill press
  • Fully adjustable design for setting stroke depth and workpiece position for accurate hole placement
  • Vertical handpiece support helps maintain straight drilling and repeatable depths
  • Compact throat capacity suited to small parts, findings, wax models, and jewelry components
  • Suited to drilling, spot facing, countersinking, and reaming in a variety of workshop materials
  • Designed to be paired with a suspended flex shaft motor and appropriate drill bits or burrs

Compatibility

  • Supported handpieces: designed for use with H.30, H.30H, H.44, H.44T, and H.44HT handpieces
  • Drive system: for use with matched flex shaft machines from the same system

Notes

The handpiece shown in product photos is not included. Supply your own compatible handpiece and flex shaft motor.

For drilling, use suitable high-speed steel, carbide, or diamond drills and let the speed of the tool do the work rather than applying heavy feed pressure. On rounded surfaces, center punch a starting point to keep the drill from wandering, and lift the drill frequently to clear chips and debris.
