The Ultra Flush cutting edge leaves a completely flat surface on one side of the cut. This makes them ideal for applications requiring a clean, level result — however, they have a more limited cutting range than other edge types, and careful use is essential to avoid edge damage. Ultra Flush cutters are the most delicate of all side cutter edge styles and should be used only within their specified capacity.

These are the Oval Jaw RX Series side cutters. Oval jaws feature a rounded tip profile, distinguishing them from Tapered Jaw models, which taper to a narrower, slightly rounded point. The oval jaw design provides reliable access in most standard bench cutting applications.
