Ventura-Melt 30 Ounce Electric Melting Furnaces-120V or 230V

The Ventura-Melt 30 Troy Ounce Electric Melting Furnace is the direct continuation of the legendary Kerr Electro-Melt — same machine, same Italian manufacturing, now under the Ventura-Melt name. Jewelers and casters who relied on the last generation Kerr Standard Electro-Melt (model 35222 in 120V, 35223 in 230V) will find these machines identical in every respect. All parts are fully interchangeable, making the transition seamless for existing users.

Available in 120V or 230V, this 1 kilogram (30 troy ounce) gold capacity furnace features digital controls with a built-in programmer, replacing the manual hi-low controls of earlier generations. The programmer allows precise temperature targeting for consistent, repeatable melts—eliminating the need for constant monitoring and reducing the risk of overshooting temperatures that can damage heating elements. When used as directed, the automatic controls extend element life and suit production use in casting and refining operations.

• Exceeding the maximum temperature of 1121°C (2050°F) will cause damage to the heating element.
• Parts for Ventura-Melt and the last-generation Kerr Electro-Melt are not interchangeable with any previous generation Kerr Electro-Melt—only the crucibles are compatible across generations.
• Kerr closed their Jewelry Division at the end of 2017; the Kerr Electro-Melt brand has been retired. No parts are available for the first two generations of Kerr Electro-Melts.
• A 3 kg (100 troy oz.) gold capacity "Maxi" Ventura-Melt is also available separately in 120V or 230V.
• Limited factory warranty provided by VCG Ventura SRL. Liability is limited to replacement of the defective product or reimbursement of its actual cost. Defective product must be returned to VCG Ventura SRL. No indirect, incidental, or consequential damages are covered.
