Gold Push/Pull Tube 6.5mm Base-Bottom Slot Safety Catches

Handmade in France, these push/pull tube safety catches offer premium security for brooch pin stems. Each catch features a 6.5 mm base with a slot on the bottom and a tube mechanism that slides open the slot when the pin is pulled. When tensioned correctly, the pin stem must be pressed down slightly and moved to the side to release from the catch—providing a confident, secure hold during wear.

Available in 18K yellow gold or 18K white gold to match your brooch metalwork. These catches should be disassembled before soldering to protect the internal spring. After attaching to the brooch, the pin rivet should be finished to complete the assembly.
