These are by far the most popular way to buy spring rings.

If a closed top is required for a finished piece, use a laser welder or spot welder to close the jump ring after attachment. Never use a torch to solder the top ring closed — the heat generated will destroy the tension of the internal spring, rendering the clasp non-functional.
