The Fretz HMR-107 is a larger version of the popular HMR-7 double-ended insert hammer, offering the greatest variety of hammer shapes for forming — all in one tool — and now scaled for larger format work. With more weight and heft than the original HMR-7, this hammer is ideal for metalsmiths and jewelers tackling bigger pieces and heavier stock.

The HMR-107 features eleven plastic insert ends that work metal without leaving marks. Inserts are secured by a set screw and are easily swapped using the included hex key. The nine different insert shapes replicate planishing, embossing, and raising hammers, giving you remarkable versatility in a single handle. This design is especially useful for forming metal without unwanted stretching.

Like all Fretz hammers, the HMR-107 is built to professional standards. The polished rosewood handle is smooth and comfortable, while the head is cast from 420-grade stainless steel and tool hardened to 50 HRC for maximum durability and long-term effectiveness.
