Fretz Michael Good CP-1 Planishing Hammer

Part # 137.188 Only 2 left Weight -- lb -- g
Current price $95.00

The Fretz–Michael Good CP-1 is a cross pein planishing hammer designed specifically for anticlastic raising. Built to Michael Good's specifications at the Fretz hammer and stake factory in Vietnam, the CP-1 features a long, slightly curved head that promotes a smooth, arcing stroke for predictable strikes along flowing curves. A 250 mm (10") handle provides ample leverage for extended forming sessions.

Features

  • Long, gently curved head engineered for controlled planishing on anticlastic forms
  • Narrow face targets thin concave curves; the heavier, thicker face adds useful heft for broader passes
  • Optimized for use on nylon sinusoidal stakes; also compatible with metal stakes and anvils
  • Face geometry complements the CP-2 — together they offer four distinct face dimensions for varied anticlastic work
