Spring Loaded Planishing Hammer-Standard Size-2-3/8" (62mm) Top Platen

The OMO Spring Loaded Planishing Hammer in standard size is a bench-mounted tool designed for quickly straightening and flattening sheet metal. Simply place the workpiece on the flat lower platen and press down on the spring-loaded upper platen to apply even, controlled force. Whether you are repairing domed or warped sheet metal or bringing a piece to a perfectly flat finish, this planishing hammer delivers consistent results with minimal effort.

The platens are hardened to Rockwell 60, making this hammer well suited for flattening non-ferrous soft metal alloys including copper, brass, silver, and gold. Note: Metals harder than the platens may cause platen damage — use appropriate care when working with harder alloys.

The upper round platen measures 2‑3/8" (62 mm) in diameter. The lower platen is removable and measures 3" (76 mm) in diameter. The tool stands 15‑1/2" (390 mm) tall with a base footprint of 7‑1/4" (185 mm) × 5‑1/16" (130 mm). Made in Italy.
