Solid brass mallets built for the demands of professional jewelers and metalsmiths. Because the brass head is softer than steel, these mallets are ideal for striking steel stamping tools, dapping punches, and disc cutters without damaging the tool faces. Some surface wear on the brass head is completely normal and expected—a sign the mallet is doing its job. Avoid cheap brass-plated imitations; these are solid brass construction throughout.
