The Jura by GRS 502-023 Microscope Stand is purpose-built for micro-stone setting under a microscope. Unlike swing-away arms, this fixed stand keeps your scope locked in the optimal position, minimizing clutter while maximizing stability and repeatability. The latest version supports two mounting methods—conventional Jura bench back-wall mounting or direct benchtop mounting—giving jewelers flexible installation options without sacrificing rigidity.

Mounting Options
Conventional Jura Bench Back-Wall Mounting: Mounts on a bench back wall located no more than 18" from the front edge of the benchtop. Includes a 4-hole bracket sized for the 1-5/8" vertical tube. Not intended for wall mounting where the stand would need to reach more than 12".
Direct Benchtop Mounting: Includes mounting ring and bolt for through-bench installation. Requires drilling a 3/8" (9.5 mm) hole and access to the underside of the bench. Supplied bolt accommodates benchtops up to 1-1/2" (38 mm) thick; thicker benchtops require a longer user-supplied bolt. The 16-3/4" (425 mm) vertical tube provides ample working distance between the scope and microblock.
Compatibility
- Designed for the Meiji EMZ series microscope heads.
- Also compatible with OttoSetters microscope heads and other scopes with an 84 mm mounting diameter.
- Optimized for micro-stone setting and precision bench work where a fixed viewing position is preferred.
Notes
The stand positions the scope off center to the right when viewed from the front of the bench. For a centered scope position, mount the 4-hole bracket to the left of center on the bench back wall.
