Meiji "FS" Coarse Focus Block/Holder

The Meiji FS Coarse Focus Block/Holder is a tilting focus holder with an integral, adjustable illuminator port. Its rack and pinion mount delivers smooth, precise focusing over 55mm of travel. The coarse focus mechanism incorporates a slip clutch and tension adjustment for controlled, repeatable positioning. The unit uses a 15.8mm (5/8") diameter, 34.5mm long mounting pin and features an 84.2mm diameter opening that accepts all EM Series stereo bodies.

Focusing holders support the microscope body and contain the mechanism that raises or lowers it to focus on the specimen. While complete stands include their own integrated focusing holders, many applications require mounting the microscope body on a boom arm stand, directly onto a machine, or onto another surface—making a dedicated focusing holder an essential component. Made in Japan.

Compatible stereo bodies, stands, eyepieces, supplementary lenses, illuminators, and accessories must be selected separately to configure a full working system.
