The JoolTool X Polishing System is a revolutionary multi-functional power tool designed for polishing, grinding, and sharpening. It uses patented slotted discs that hold a variety of 3M abrasives, and as the disc spins, the slots create a transparency effect so you can see through the wheel while you work. The system can be used upright like a split lap machine or turned on its side for use with conventional polishing buffs and tools. The JoolTool X can also power a flexaide, effectively converting your polishing machine into a flex shaft machine.
The JoolTool X is a dual voltage machine (100–240V), supplied with a North American 2-prong plug. An adapter is required for other outlets.
3M has supplied a series of adhesive-backed Trizacâ„¢ microfinishing films sized to fit the JoolTool X revolutionary backpads, making flat grinding and polishing of edges easy to achieve. The JoolTool X is also compatible with 3M's bristle wheel polishers, accepting both 2" and 3" diameter bristle brushes for finishing work ranging from scratch removal to a final bright polish. A 2" inlet allows connection to a dust collector or shop-vac for debris removal, though the 3M polishing products help keep debris minimal, making suction optional.
The Deluxe Stone Kit (JTX-DLX-ST) is a great alternative to expensive lapidary polishing systems. This kit includes the products needed for shaping and polishing common gemstones.
