Cotton Flannel Buff

Cotton flannel buffs are a polishing room staple for jewelers and metalsmiths who need consistent, reliable results when working with cutting and polishing compounds. Constructed from stitched soft cotton flannel, these buffs are well-suited for use with aggressive cutting compounds such as Tripoli as well as finer polishing compounds like rouge. The stitched construction provides the firmness and surface contact needed to work compounds effectively against metal surfaces.

Available in seven sizes ranging from 2" to 8" diameter, with ply counts of 25 or 30, these buffs accommodate a wide range of bench polishing motors and applications. For best results, comb the buff with a buff rake before use to open the cotton fibers and prepare the surface for compound loading.
