The Fretz AP-6 Cast Iron Annealing Pan delivers a substantial upgrade over standard annealing pans, offering jewelers and metalsmiths a stable platform for annealing and soldering work. At 4.6 lbs, this 6" cast iron pan eliminates the wobble common to lighter pans, giving you stable, controlled rotation whenever you need to reposition your work.
Heavy-duty bearings support the added weight of the cast iron construction, ensuring smooth, deliberate movement even during demanding sessions. The finish is first quality, consistent with what professionals expect from the Fretz line.
This pan is designed with versatility in mind. Fill it with bulk pumice or black soldering grain to create a complete annealing station — the 6" pan requires less than 1 lb of pumice to fill. It also accommodates popular white soldering boards: the 6" × 6" board fits snugly across the top of the pan, held in place by cast-in slots, making it equally effective as a soldering station.
Also available in a 12" diameter version (Part # 154.127) for larger work.
