OttoFlux Paste Flux is a creamy white silver brazing flux designed to promote clean, reliable solder joints while protecting metal surfaces during heating. Active up to 1600°F (870°C), it supports strong wetting and bonding across a wide range of metals commonly used in jewelry and metalworking. The smooth paste consistency spreads easily and remains stable without hardening or crystallizing when stored properly.

OttoFlux may be used directly from the container or diluted with water to achieve a thinner consistency. Warming the flux to approximately 140–180°F (60–82°C) reduces viscosity and increases activity. Always apply flux to clean metal surfaces before heating and soldering. Residues can be removed with hot water (at least 140°F/60°C).
Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Use appropriate protective equipment, including safety goggles and gloves, and ensure adequate ventilation during brazing operations. Dispose of flux residues according to local and federal environmental guidelines.
