This configuration pairs the body with a micro head and three tips, so it favors fine, controlled flame work for detailed soldering and welding.

The Swiss Torch is engineered to work as four torches in one. It runs as a repair torch with a Hoke-style head familiar to North American jewelers, as a microhead torch with hypodermic tips for precise work, as a platinum torch with a specialized tip that produces hotter flames for melting and casting small amounts of platinum, and as a casting torch with oxy/gas or compressed air/gas heads.

The micro tips rotate on the side of the micro head, so the flame can be positioned anywhere within a 360-degree arc. The three included hypodermic needle tips give small, extremely precise flames suited to intricate metalwork. Replacement tips are available separately.

Compatibility

The Swiss Torch works best with propane or natural gas and is not compatible with acetylene. The micro head is compatible with propane, natural gas, or hydrogen.
