14KY Link Locks

Gold Link Locks offer a patented self-closing jump ring solution that eliminates the need to solder jump rings closed. Sold individually, each Link Lock is 5mm in diameter when closed and provides a connection as strong as a soldered link — without the torch, flux, or finishing work.

Installing a Link Lock follows the same motion as fitting a standard open jump ring between two pieces of jewelry. Closing is straightforward: use one pair of pliers to hold the Link Lock steady and a second pair to close the gap. A final squeeze with the pliers locks it permanently in place. The only way to reopen a closed Link Lock is to cut it — making it a true permanent connection.
