These plain lever backs with open rings feature set rivets, meaning they are ready to use straight from the package. Because the rivets are pre-set, these findings are not recommended for soldering unless you first remove the rivet, complete your soldering work, then reassemble and reset the rivets afterward. Lever backs require a small amount of lubrication to operate properly—apply a tiny drop of oil to all moving parts during use and especially after ultrasonic cleaning.
