Important: Lindstrom cutters are not guaranteed. Cutting capacity limits printed on the handles refer to soft copper wire only. Metal alloys commonly used in jewelry are significantly harder and will reduce effective cutting capacity. All flush-type cutters are considered delicate tools.

If tip damage occurs, it is recommended to grind the undamaged side down to match the damaged side and continue use. Dents in the cutting surface indicate that the hardness of the material being cut has exceeded the limits of the cutter. Lindstrom cutters, as used in the jewelry industry, should be regarded as consumable labor-saving devices.

The 80 Series is available in three cutting edge types for reference: Micro-Bevel (slight bevel for increased strength and wider cutting range), Flush (near-flat cut on one side, more delicate), and Ultra-Flush (fully flat cut on one side, most limited range and most delicate).
