LiquaFast® ICE is Castaldo's ultra-fast-curing, transparent 0% shrinkage RTV silicone mold rubber, developed for rapid production of CAD-CAM, RP, and SLA models. This two-part system forms tough, long-lasting molds ready in as little as 30 minutes — perfect for same-day casting workflows. Its clarity allows visual inspection of models during pouring and curing, while low viscosity ensures bubble-free detail replication.
Note: Hazardous material — ground shipping only. Not eligible for air or international shipment.
Features
- Super-fast cure — ready-to-use molds in as little as 30 minutes.
- 0% shrinkage for precision-fit wax patterns and accurate castings.
- Transparent silicone formula allows direct visual inspection while curing.
- Extremely tough and tear-resistant — molds resist softening over time.
- Low viscosity simplifies measuring, mixing, and pouring with fewer bubbles.
- Recommended vacuum degassing for optimal clarity and mold strength.
- Economical alternative to traditional silicone RTVs — lower cost per mold cycle.

What's Included
- LiquaFast® ICE Part A (clear base)
- LiquaFast® ICE Part B (clear catalyst)
- Total net contents: 4 kilograms (8.8 lb); mix 1:1
Compatibility
- Optimized for CAD-CAM, RP, and SLA resin models, including Solidscape® and similar materials.
- Ideal for jewelers and model makers requiring fast turnaround and high detail fidelity.
- Compatible with most casting waxes and resins. Use a barrier coat for sensitive materials if required.
- Recommended for professional jewelry mold making, prototyping, and small-scale production.
Notes
- For best results, vacuum-degas after mixing and again after pouring to remove air bubbles.
- To accelerate curing, warm molds gently to 120°F (50°C). Avoid overheating above 150°F (65°C).
- If no vacuum pump is available, brush or dip the model before pouring the full mold to minimize air entrapment.
- Maintain even room temperature (above 65°F / 18°C) during curing. Avoid temperature fluctuations.
- Store unopened containers in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Shelf life: approximately 6 months.
- Classified ORM-D: ground shipping only; not for air or international transport.
- Use gloves and eye protection. Work in a well-ventilated area.
- Read and follow all Castaldo SDS and label precautions before use.
- Professional use only — designed for experienced casters and mold makers.
