Ferris File-A-Wax Assortment Bars give you one bar of each hardness formula in a single purchase — the ideal way to work with the full range of this trusted carving wax system. Each bar measures 3‑1/2" x 1‑1/2" x 1‑1/4" and is color-coded by hardness so you always reach for the right wax. Ferris File-A-Wax has been the preferred carving wax of master jewelers and model makers for decades, prized for its workability and clean burnout performance in lost wax casting.
These bars are easily sawed, carved, drilled, milled, and turned on a lathe. They stand up to rough handling without softening in the hands, and they burn out cleanly from investment molds. Suitable for a wide range of jewelry forms including rings, cuff links, pendants, and medallions.
Important: Ferris File-A-Wax must be burned out of investment molds. It is not suitable for use with steam dewaxers.
