Ferris File-A-Wax Ring Tube Style T-1062E is a 6" (152mm) long carving wax tube with a 1-1/16" (27.0mm) outside diameter and a 5/8" (15.9mm) off-centered hole — equivalent to USA standard finger size 5. Designed for lost wax casting, these tubes are the choice of master carvers for producing models for rings, cuff links, pendants, medallions, and more.

File-A-Wax carves cleanly with hand tools, saws, drills, mills, and lathes. Each formula burns out cleanly from investment molds and will not soften in the hand during carving. All formulas share an approximate melting point of 240°F. Must be burned out of investment molds — not for use in steam dewaxers.
