Ferris File-A-Wax Ring Tube T-250 is a flat-top carving wax tube measuring 6" (152 mm) in length, 1-1/8" (28.6 mm) high, and 1-1/8" (28.6 mm) wide, featuring a 5/8" (15.9 mm) off-center hole. Designed for the lost wax casting process, this style is well-suited for rings, cuff links, pendants, medallions, and similar jewelry models.
Ferris File-A-Wax carving waxes are the long-time choice of master carvers. These waxes can be sawed, carved, drilled, milled, or turned on a lathe. They burn out cleanly from molds, withstand rough handling, and will not soften in your hands. Approximate melting point: 240°F.
Note: Must be burned out of investment molds. Not for use in steam de-waxers.
