These virgin graphite crucibles are manufactured exclusively for Otto Frei as a direct replacement for Kerr part numbers 29478 and 35620. Designed for use in all Kerr 30 troy ounce (approximately 1 kilo) Electro Melt models, they deliver long-lasting, economical performance that outlasts compressed graphite alternatives.

Unlike the compressed graphite crucibles commonly found on the market, these crucibles are made from virgin graphite — a denser, higher-quality material that results in a heavier crucible with a bright, shiny, smooth surface when new. This construction provides maximum resistance to oxidation during the melt cycle, helping to protect your metal and extend service life.

To avoid cross-contamination, use a separate crucible for each metal type.
