10x Triplet LED Light Loupe

The 10x Triplet LED Light Loupe is a professional-grade magnifier built for jewelers, gemologists, and diamond graders who demand accurate, distortion-free viewing. Unlike single-lens or doublet loupes, this loupe uses a genuine glass triplet — three separate lenses bonded together — delivering vastly superior optical clarity over less expensive alternatives.

A bright ring of LED lights surrounds the lens, flooding your subject with even white illumination exactly where you need it. This makes it an ideal tool for grading diamonds and colored gemstones, revealing inclusions and color nuances with exceptional clarity. The LED array is activated by a miniature on/off switch located adjacent to the lights, and the unit runs on three L936 (Eveready 394) button cell batteries housed behind a coin-operated threaded cap.

Not all 10x jeweler's loupes are the same. Professionals always use triplets.

This loupe meets the industry standard for diamond grading: for clarity grading purposes, if a flaw is not visible under 10x magnification, it does not exist. The optics are corrected for both spherical and chromatic aberrations, minimizing edge distortion and color fringing for true, accurate viewing across the full field.
