Magnifiers for Jewelers & Watchmakers

See more, strain less. Explore hands-free headband magnifiers (Donegan OptiVISOR), professional binocular magnifiers (Carl Zeiss), classic Hastings/Coddington/watchmaker loupes (Bausch & Lomb), illuminated and UV loupes, and everyday hand loupes—plus interchangeable lens plates and accessories.

How to choose

  • Headband magnifiers (OptiVISOR) — optical-glass lens plates with fast swap-outs. Remember: higher magnification = shorter working distance (e.g., 1.5× ≈ 20″ working distance; 3.5× ≈ 4″). Great for setting, engraving and detailed bench work.
  • Binocular magnifiers — crisp, wide field with comfortable depth of focus; ideal for long sessions when you want both clarity and ergonomics.
  • Loupes — triplet loupes for color-correct, edge-to-edge sharpness; watchmaker styles for hands-free placement; options include LED/UV illumination for inspections.

Tip: Choose the lowest magnification that lets you work comfortably at your preferred distance, and consider a second lens/loupe for occasional high-power tasks.
