Value Line Bezel Setting Tools Set of 18

Part # 153.149 Only 2 left Weight -- lb -- g
Current price $45.00

An affordable entry point into professional bezel and tube setting, this Bezel Setting Tools Set of 18 delivers reliable performance for jewelers and metalsmiths working with round bezels and tube settings. Ideal for smoothly and evenly closing settings without marring the metal, these punches cover a broad metric size range — from 0.75 mm up to 7.75 mm — giving you the right tool for a wide variety of stone sizes in a single set.

For tube settings, select heavy-walled tubing 0.5 mm larger than the stone's diameter. Use a setting burr exactly the size of the stone to cut the seat, then burnish the bezel closed with the appropriately sized tool from this set. For example, a 3 mm round faceted stone pairs with tubing at 3.5–3.8 mm OD, a 3 mm setting burr to cut the seat, and the 3 mm punch from this set to close the bezel.

The set includes one handle with an adjustable chuck for securing each tool during use. Made in India from carbon steel — a material chosen for its superior toughness compared to stainless steel.

Notes

Carbon Steel Care: Carbon steel will naturally rust over time. To remove rust, use fine sandpaper or abrasive tools. To prevent rust, apply a light coating of machine oil to protect the surface.

Recommended Before First Use: Inspect and polish the interior of each punch as needed before use. A smooth, polished interior finish prevents marring of settings. Bullet-point polishers (such as Part # 110.342) or similarly shaped abrasive points are recommended for this purpose. This practice is recommended for all bezel setting tools.
