Product Details

These Durston Professional Bevel-Flush* End Cutters 115mm are manufactured with laser precision edges that provide seamless, repeatable cuts. The bevel ends are created with finer jaws and smaller heads with a pronounced taper to enhance access to fine details. The jaws are manufactured with the cutting blades perpendicular to the handles to provide more leverage and access to flat surfaces.

These cutters are created with a lap joint, where one half of the joint overlaps the other with a screw set through both halves. This screw allows the joint to be adjusted as required.

The double-leaf spring consists of flat, tempered metal tabs attached to the inside of each of the tool handles, positioned to meet and hold the handles apart (and the jaws open) until they are squeezed closed, delivering a fast, strong rebound for enhanced productivity.

The ergonomic handles provide a comfortable grip, allowing you to work longer and reduce hand fatigue. Durston Bevel End Flush Cutters are created with poly handles for increased comfort.

Jaw Style: Bevel-Flush End Cutters
Jaw Length: 12mm
Handle Length: 89mm
Overall Length/Dimensions: 115mm
Maximum Cutting Capacity*: 0.8mm soft copper wire and jewelry metals including yellow gold, silver and platinum. Non-ferrous metals only. Avoid nickel based white gold alloys.

* PLEASE NOTE: Durston cutters are NOT guaranteed. Cutting limits are for soft copper wire only. Metal alloys commonly used for jewelry are much harder. All types of flush cutters are very delicate. Be especially careful when cutting with the tips.  Use the middle of the cutting edge whenever possible.

If damage occurs to the tips we recommend that you grind the undamaged side down to match the damaged side and continue to use the cutters. Dents in the cutting surface are a clear indication that the hardness of the metal being cut is in excess of the limits of the cutters. Durston, and other brands of cutters, as they are commonly used in the jewelry industry should be considered consumable labor saving devices.
