3M 2" Radial Bristle Discs

Replace cloth buffs and polishing compounds with 3M 2" Radial Bristle Discs — a cleaner, more consistent approach to surface finishing for jewelers and metalsmiths. The polishing compound is built directly into the bristles, so every use delivers a fresh charge and uniform finish across the entire work surface. These flexible, cool-running discs are long-lasting and economical, making them a practical upgrade for any polishing workflow.

Stack multiple discs together on a tapered spindle mount to build a custom polishing buff suited to your specific job. The recommended stacking range is a minimum of 3 discs and a maximum of 8 discs. Use with 3M Bristle Disc Tapered Spindle Mounts (see part numbers 116.549 and 116.549L), designed for use with polishing motors with tapered spindles.

Seven grits are available to take a piece from aggressive scratch removal through final high-luster polish. Pre-stacked, ready-to-use brushes are also sold individually (116.561B–116.567B), or as a complete kit of all 7 grits (116.560).
