OTEC Walnut Shell Media H1/500 is an extra-fine, dry polishing media designed for achieving mirror finishes on non-ferrous jewelry metals as well as titanium and steel alloys. Each batch arrives pre-impregnated with polishing paste, so no additional compound is required until the 3rd–4th cycle. Use it as the ultimate final step in a dry polishing sequence with OTEC high-speed dry disc finishers or other compatible dry polishing equipment.

Notes

  • When finishing multiple parts in an OTEC dry disc finisher, suspend pieces using a drag or fixture attachment to prevent part-to-part contact that can cause dents or scratches.
  • Once the built-in compound is depleted—typically after the 3rd–4th cycle—refresh with OTEC P6 Polishing Paste Compound.
