OTEC Walnut Shell Media H1/400 is a fine-grain, dry polishing media designed to produce a high-gloss, mirror finish on non-ferrous jewelry metals as well as titanium and steel alloys. Each batch arrives pre-impregnated with polishing paste, eliminating the need for additional compound until the 3rd–4th cycle. Compatible with OTEC high-speed dry disc finishers and other dry polishing equipment, this media is suited for the second or final stage of a dry polishing sequence.

  • When finishing multiple parts in an OTEC dry disc finisher, suspend pieces using a drag or fixture attachment to minimize part-to-part contact and prevent dents or scratches.
  • Once the built-in compound is depleted—typically after the 3rd–4th cycle—refresh with OTEC P6 Polishing Paste Compound.
