Raytech 2 mm porcelain ball media is designed for mass finishing and deburring of jewelry, castings, and fabricated metal parts. This micro-abrasive ceramic media cuts, cleans, and leaves an extremely smooth surface that is bright but not mirror-reflective. Lighter than steel shot, porcelain balls are well suited for smaller vibratory bowls or rotary barrels where steel weight may be a concern, and they are less likely to ding or mar delicate edges and fine details. Media must be used wet with a suitable detergent or burnishing compound. Sold in a 1 lb pack.
