Porcelain ball media in a 6 mm diameter for mass finishing and deburring in vibratory and rotary tumblers. This micro-abrasive ceramic cuts, cleans, and leaves an extremely smooth surface that is bright but not mirror-reflective. A lighter alternative to steel shot, porcelain media is well suited for smaller vibratory bowls or rotary barrels where machine weight limits apply. Its gentler action reduces the risk of dinging or marring delicate work, and the long service life makes it an economical choice for production and bench use alike. Use wet with a suitable detergent or burnishing compound. Sold in a 1 lb pack.
