These stainless steel magnetic pins are made from a special chromium alloy stainless steel that is rust and corrosion resistant, designed to outlast comparable polishing media. Sold in 250-gram (17.6-ounce) packs, they are available in two diameters — 0.3mm and 0.5mm — both 5.0mm in length. The pin geometry is engineered to reach into fine details, tight settings, and intricate areas with minimal lodging. These pins are designed for use in magnetic polishers only.

Notes
Break-In Period Required: Before first use, magnetic pins must be broken in to de-iron the pins and temper their blunt edges. Run them through several 5–10 minute cycles using a polishing compound such as Otto Frei OF 610 Magnetic Tumbler Solution or #750 Powdered Shot Cleaner. Do not mix with other pins or use on finished metals until the break-in process is complete. The pins are ready for use when they no longer turn the water solution black. This process leaches out residual iron that can interfere with brightening results.
