Cratex 5/8" x 1/8" Square Edge Wheels are rubberized abrasive wheels engineered for precise metal, glass, and lapidary conditioning and finishing. Sold in packs of 10, these wheels feature silicon carbide abrasive grain mixed homogeneously throughout a premium oil-resistant chemical rubber bond. As the wheel wears, fresh, sharp grains are continuously exposed. The result is consistent, reliable performance from the first use to the last.

Unlike conventional grinding wheels, the Cratex cushioned bond cuts freely, smoothly, and softly without gouging or digging into the work surface. It resists clogging and smearing, making these wheels ideal for light deburring, smoothing, cleaning, and polishing on ferrous and non-ferrous alloys as well as non-metallic surfaces such as glass — all without sacrificing dimensional tolerances or control.
