Supplied in 6" x 12" master sheets and cut to order along the 6" width, this half-hard material offers improved resistance to fire scale and tarnish compared to traditional sterling—so your finished work stays bright and crisp at the bench.

• When torch annealing, heat evenly to a glowing pink or dull red color; use a darkened room to accurately judge color.
• Allow to air cool until the visible glow disappears under normal lighting, then water quench.
• Heating below the proper annealing temperature may cause cracking during quenching.
• Contains germanium, which forms a protective oxide layer that helps resist fire scale and tarnish.
• Enameling performance is poor; stamping, drawing, spinning, rolling, and casting are excellent.
• For brazing, use solders with a flow point below 1350°F (732°C) for best results.
