Handy Flame Butane Torch

The Handy Flame torch head attaches to 8 oz. butane canisters that you can find in hardware stores and restaurant supply stores or stores with a camping/outdoor department. These cans have a ring type top.*

The Handy Flame will produce a large (by hand held torch standards) adjustable flame that can reach 2375 degrees F, hot enough for most jewelry soldering jobs. Featuring a lightweight compact design and one-touch igniting.

The Handy Flame is easy to attach-simply push the torch head down on the canister and twist: you are now ready to solder!

One great benefit of the Handy Flame using butane gas instead of the more common propane gas is that you can use this torch upside down. That is something that is not possible with propane torches of this type as propane tanks need to be kept upright to prevent "spitting" of the liquid fuel which is propane.

Great for traveling: simply source the butane gas at your destination.
