Handy Flame II Propane Torch

The Handy Flame II propane torch by Euro Tool attaches to propane or MAPP gas disposable fuel tanks that you can find at any hardware or camping store. Includes fix regulator and 5 foot (1.5 meter) long flexible hose. With a comfortable ergonomic grip and one-touch ignition, this economical torch can handle big soldering jobs including annealing.

The size of the flame can be adjusted at the brass regulator. A low flame setting can result in overheating so it is best to use this torch with the regulator turned up.

This is an atmospheric torch that mixes air with the fuel in a chamber on the handle. The hose assembly is integrated with the handle and the regulator and cannot be replaced. If hose cracks or shows signs of wear including nicks or is damaged in any way stop using the torch and buy a new one.

Operating Procedure:

Connecting the torch

• For use with disposable fuel tanks only.
• To connect the torch to the fuel tank hand tighten torch onto the cylinder. Make sure the connection is tight.
• Check for leakage in the connection between the torch and the fuel cylinder. If it leaks, the connection is not tight enough.

Igniting the torch

• Turn the brass regulator knurled knob counter clockwise while pushing the igniting trigger until the torch ignites.
• Adjust the flame size by turning knob clockwise (decrease flame) or counter-clockwise (increase flame).

Turning off the torch

• Turn the brass regulator knurled knob clockwise until the flame goes out and the torch is fully turned off
• After use remove the brass regulator knurled knob from your gas source. Important-Do Not Store Torch Connected to Gas Source.
• Make sure torch is completely cool before storing.
