Ring Bending & Bow Closing Pliers 6-1/4" Value Line

Originally designed for closing watch bows on pocket watches, these 6-1/4" ring bending and bow closing pliers have become a favorite among jewelers for ring forming. Functional, affordable, and modeled after a classic German design that sold for four times the price, these pliers deliver solid performance at an accessible value.

Before first use, it is recommended to spend a little time polishing the jaws to make them as smooth as possible. Many jewelers glue a small piece of leather to the jaws to prevent marring soft metals during ring forming and bending work.

Made in Pakistan, these pliers are considered excellent copies of the original German ring bending pliers, which are no longer in production. As a note of historical interest: there is reason to believe the final production runs of the German pliers were simply these same pliers marked "Germany." Buyer beware.
