AGILO-SOFT carbide rotary file smoothing burs are designed to refine and smooth precious metals the way a file does — but faster and with longer-lasting results. The "soft" in the name refers to the cutting action: these burs even out surface imperfections and leave behind a smoother finish that is ready for sanding and final polishing. Because they are made from carbide, they maintain their cutting edge exceptionally well when working with precious metals, significantly reducing finishing time over the course of regular use.

This listing is for the flame shape, 6mm x 14mm bur mounted on a 3/32" shank. The flame shape is particularly well suited for working on rounded forms such as castings, bezel settings, and wax models. It is one of the most versatile shapes available — effective even on the inside of rings — and presents a safer alternative to cylinder burs, which carry a greater risk of accidental damage to surrounding metal.
