The Durston Professional Bevel-Flush End Cutter 115mm delivers laser-precision edges engineered for seamless, repeatable cuts in fine jewelry and metalsmithing work. The bevel-end jaw design features finer jaws and a smaller head with a pronounced taper, giving you enhanced access to intricate details and tight spaces. Cutting blades are oriented perpendicular to the handles, providing increased leverage and improved access to flat surfaces.
The tool is built with a lap joint construction — one half overlaps the other, secured by an adjustable screw set through both halves — allowing you to tune the joint tension as the tool wears over time. A double-leaf spring, made from flat tempered metal tabs mounted to the inside of each handle, holds the jaws open between cuts and delivers a fast, strong rebound for improved productivity during extended work sessions.
Ergonomic poly handles reduce hand fatigue and allow for comfortable use over long periods at the bench.

Important: Durston cutters are not guaranteed. Stated cutting limits apply to soft copper wire only. Jewelry metal alloys are significantly harder and will accelerate wear. All flush cutters are delicate instruments — use the middle of the cutting edge whenever possible, and exercise extra care when cutting near the tips.
If tip damage occurs, grind the undamaged side down to match the damaged side and continue use. Dents in the cutting surface indicate the metal being cut exceeds the cutter's hardness limits. As commonly used in the jewelry industry, these cutters — like all brands of flush cutters — should be considered consumable, labor-saving tools.
Avoid: Nickel-based white gold alloys and all ferrous metals.
