The Eschenbach 2678 Around the Neck Magnifier delivers hands-free magnification for tasks that demand full use of both hands — sewing, knitting, fine detail work, and other close-up hobbies or bench tasks. The around-the-neck design keeps the lens suspended comfortably in front of the work area, while the adjustable cord lets the user raise or lower the magnifier to the ideal working height.

At the heart of this magnifier is a large bi-aspheric PXM plastic lens measuring 5.51" × 3.93", treated with a duplex coating to reduce glare and improve clarity. Bi-aspheric optics minimize distortion across the field of view, making extended use more comfortable. The transparent plastic mount allows light to pass through freely, eliminating shadows that can obscure fine detail. Rubber pads on the feet prevent the magnifier from sliding when set down on a flat surface.

A 4× bi-focal spot lens (35 mm diameter) is built in for moments when higher magnification is needed on a specific area, providing a convenient secondary viewing option without reaching for a separate tool.
