Marketed by Glardon-Vallorbe as a second-quality file for industrial use, these needle files are single cut — compared to the double cut found on Glardon-Vallorbe's premium needle file line.
Unlike the top-tier Glardon-Vallorbe needle files, Saver quality files do not receive the same intensive hand finishing at the tips, resulting in blunt rather than pointed tips. The handles are also not finished with the trademark knurled treatment found on the premium line. For high-volume or production bench work where economy matters, these files deliver reliable performance at a lower cost.
