Quatro AR012 Hose Adapter Kit- For 1-1/2" Diameter Hose To 3" Inlet, Outlet or Hose

The Quatro AR012 Hose Adapter Kit provides a practical solution for connecting a 1-1/2" diameter hose — such as those included with the Quatro Gold Vault or Quatro Jet Stream — to any inlet, outlet, or hose with a 3" diameter. The kit includes a PVC reducing coupling and two flexible, self-adhesive insulating/weatherstripping lengths to accommodate a range of connection scenarios.

Features

• Connects 1-1/2" diameter flexible hose to 3" diameter inlets, outlets, or hoses
• Compatible with hose systems such as the Quatro Gold Vault and Quatro Jet Stream
• PVC reducing coupling provides a sturdy base for the connection
• Thin weatherstripping applies to the inside of the small-diameter end of the coupling, allowing the 1-1/2" flexible hose to screw in firmly
• Thicker weatherstripping applies to the outside of the large-diameter end when connecting to most flexible 3" diameter hoses
• Direct connection to 3" hard outlets is possible without weatherstripping
• Works with flexible dryer hose such as the type used in the Quatro 147.631E kit

Notes

• 3" diameter hose clamps are not supplied with this kit and are required to secure the connection when attaching to flexible 3" diameter hose.
• This kit is not compatible with the hard 3" flexible hose used with larger Quatro Velocity systems.
• Some duct tape may be needed to secure the connection to hard 3" outlets on equipment.
• Because of the variety of systems this adapter may be used with, some connections may require additional weatherstripping of different thicknesses, hose clamps, or duct tape. A trip to the hardware store may be necessary to obtain additional materials.
• If the hose is frequently attached and detached, the weatherstripping on the small-diameter end may need periodic replacement.
