The RinGenie A300 3" Mini Vise

The RinGenie A300 3" Mini Vise is a precision holding tool engineered for jewelers who demand versatility in stonesetting and engraving work. What sets the RinGenie apart from a standard engraving ball is its dual function: it operates as a conventional micro ball and as a positioning device — the only micro ball on the market to offer both capabilities in a single tool.

Constructed from stainless steel, the RinGenie Mini Vise is built for long-term, corrosion-free performance in the shop. Its compact 3" form factor is small enough to control with one hand, making it especially well-suited for use under a microscope or any magnification system. The vise can also be adapted for use with bench holding devices such as the GRS BenchMate when paired with the RinGenie Vise Adapter (sold separately).

The revolutionary design centers on stationary round pins on either side of the vise body, which work in tandem with black levers to deliver precise, controlled side-to-side movement. This mechanism makes repositioning workpieces significantly easier compared to traditional engraving balls. The copper jaw inserts are reversible, allowing the user to switch between flat and V-groove configurations as the work requires. The hole pattern on the top platform is compatible with most accessory kits, including the GRS 103.520 accessory kit.
